Made for Maids

No, not old maids. Bridesmaids – the best kind of maids. Today’s post is directly inspired by an early morning photo text I received from my best friend: a sweetly crafted clothes hanger with her name, given by her sister to carefully hold the day’s freshly pressed Maid of Honor dress. It made me insanely jealous that I never so much as researched the possibilities of bridesmaid gifts during my stint as a bride – it was more or less a last minute thing once the stresses of wedding week were upon us. To avoid this type of scenario yourself, check out a few of my favorite favors from around the net (and of course, Fort Worth!)…

1. Tom’s Shoes Wedding Collection $54 // 2. Monogramed Boxes by CreeperJess $18. Etsy // 3. Peonies & Costume Jewelry via Style Me Pretty // 4. Monogrammed Oilcloth Make-up Bags $10.50, The Preppy Thread // 5. Assorted Clutches by Oatmeal Lace via Style Me Pretty // 6. Monogrammed Envelope Locket by Secretjewellz $27.20, Etsy // 7. Personalized Hanger by Blackscrapcat $27, Etsy // 8. Lollia Bath & Body Products, $18-57, De Ma Fille Fort Worth

Despite the fact that my bridal days are over, I should probably just buy that personalized hanger for myself, seeing as it was already made for me. ;) As for bridesmaid gifts received over the years, these two are my all-time favorite and still in use today…

Personalized Stationary from the Bells // Anthropologie Monogrammed Mugs from my sister-in-law

Obsessed with the idea of personalized stationary with both a sweet picture and a name-tag – Snapfish and even Walgreens.com offer great selections and prices for this online DIY gift. I keep my notepad next to my laptop at all times! In my opinion, this should be priority numero uno when selecting the perfect bridesmaid gift: usage. Pick something that will illuminate the careful aesthetics of your special day but also a treat the ladies will love long after you say ‘I do!’

I disagree…I think your bridal days have only just begun! Your way to pretty to have just one day!
