Black + Nude
I never thought I’d think it, much less confess it, but I’m on color overkill right now – which is never a good thing when spring just began and summer is no where in sight! I’m absolutely to blame for this burn out, too, as my closet has become more of an advertisement for a DayGlo convention. And I really can’t wear that hot pink blouse and orangey-orange belt to teach a class full of college students (and still be taken seriously), now can I?! So as to avoid a neon exhaustion, I decided to stalk some other fresh hues that would make do in the coming sunny days. And surprisingly, a quirky mix of blacks and nudes makes for a spritely yet structured set-up…
